1. Medical Evaluation
Before the surgery, your medical history will be reviewed. Please inform your doctor about:
- Any chronic diseases (diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, etc.)
- Regularly used medications
- Allergies or previous surgical procedures
2. Medications and Supplements
- Stop blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin) at least 7 days before surgery, unless otherwise advised by your doctor.
- Avoid herbal supplements, vitamins, and omega-3 products for 7–10 days before the operation.
- Do not consume alcohol for at least 3 days before surgery.
- Smoking should be stopped at least 7 days before the procedure as it negatively affects healing.
- Alcohol consumption should be avoided for at least 72 hours prior to surgery.
- Wash your hair thoroughly on the morning of surgery or the night before using a regular shampoo.
- Do not apply gel, spray, wax, or any styling products on the day of the operation.
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes (preferably button-up or zip-up tops).
- Do not wear jewelry or bring valuable items on the day of surgery.
- Have a light breakfast on the morning of surgery unless instructed otherwise.
